Sampson Achai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hammed Aiyetan having to make a save. In the 10th minute Okorie Aro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nwabugwu Falana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Sampson Achai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Doncaster's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave West 6 FC the free kick. A collision led to Doncaster getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sampson Achai hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Wasiu Chaicai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hammed Aiyetan was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 16th minute, Sampson Achai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sampson Achai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 minutes, Connally Olaniyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doncaster and the West 6 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Connally Olaniyi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Okorie Aro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hammed Aiyetan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sampson Achai went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Sampson Achai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Hammed Aiyetan made a huge save. A throw-in in the 39th minute of the game was made by Tope Egelege with Okorie Aro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 42nd minute, Tope Egelege hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hammed Aiyetan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rapuokwu Khumbotso. West 6 FC's Hammed Aiyetan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save West 6 FC from getting a goal against them. Wasiu Chaicai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Sampson Achai made the kick off in the second half. Sampson Achai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Hammed Aiyetan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the West 6 FC defense, Sampson Achai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hammed Aiyetan. The West 6 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hammed Aiyetan should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute Sampson Achai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hammed Aiyetan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sampson Achai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hammed Aiyetan having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Okorie Aro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West 6 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Okorie Aro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Okorie Aro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Doncaster's Wasiu Chaicai in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye West 6 FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute, Ngan Funnom Ikpong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sampson Achai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Connally Olaniyi got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 88th minute, Connally Olaniyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Olawale Habibu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doncaster walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
