Obinna Ajasin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Awenayeri Ajanaku in the 10th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Awenayeri Ajanaku who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Enought Ball's Obinna Ajasin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Obinna Ajasin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Awenayeri Ajanaku in the 15th minute of the match. Awenayeri Ajanaku could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Obinna Ajasin made a huge save. Obinna Ajasin was a little too slow when Tang Zhi Hai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Madukaego Achomadu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ibeabuchi Lebechukwu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Shoeburynesss's Kabiru Onanuga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madukaego Achomadu in the 25th minute of play. Tang Zhi Hai came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Obinna Ajasin could save by the left post. If Awenayeri Ajanaku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kabiru Onanuga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beluchi Ndah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kabiru Onanuga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ibeabuchi Lebechukwu's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes Enought Ball got a freekick which was hit by Ikechukwu Abanum. Tang Zhi Hai kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Enought Ball's goalkeeper Obinna Ajasin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tang Zhi Hai. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Awenayeri Ajanaku stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Shoeburynesss's Awenayeri Ajanaku nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Obinna Ajasin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Enought Ball's Obinna Ajasin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tang Zhi Hai in the 57th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Ejimofor Achonu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Madukaego Achomadu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tang Zhi Hai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Obinna Ajasin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rashidi Okigbo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Obinna Ajasin saved Enought Ball from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Enought Ball's goal looked a bit too open when Tang Zhi Hai came free, but Obinna Ajasin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ikechukwu Abanum's late challenge caught a Shoeburynesss's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ikechukwu Abanum helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Shoeburynesss a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manasseh Ginikanwa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Enought Ball's Obinna Ajasin. 4-0. 72 minutes into the match, Enought Ball's goal looked a bit too open when Manasseh Ginikanwa came free, but Obinna Ajasin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
