Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erfan Argungu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Okechukwu Owonaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erfan Argungu in the 5th minute of the match. Okechukwu Owonaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erfan Argungu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Onwuatuegwu Olubajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godwin Azubuike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birmingham's Erfan Argungu got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Bristol Totterdown got a freekick which was hit by Waga Ijiyokun. Erfan Argungu struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Okechukwu Owonaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birmingham. 23 minutes into the game, Birmingham's Romanus Isiaq nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Okechukwu Owonaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Romanus Isiaq kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 26thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Bristol Totterdown's keeper Okechukwu Owonaru was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Erfan Argungu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Okechukwu Owonaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ibezim Odoko in the 30th minute of play forced Birmingham's goalkeeper Godwin Azubuike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Birmingham got a freekick which was hit by Biodun Ifejiagwa. Ibezim Odoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Okechukwu Owonaru made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Romanus Isiaq sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th match minute, Bristol Totterdown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmadu Okereke to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Birmingham's Oluchi Ama-Nwauwa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Onwuatuegwu Olubajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Onwuatuegwu Olubajo was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes Bristol Totterdown got a freekick which was hit by Mannaseh Ukohu. Godwin Azubuike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onwuatuegwu Olubajo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Birmingham's zone, Onwuatuegwu Olubajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godwin Azubuike came out of the goal and Onwuatuegwu Olubajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Onwuatuegwu Olubajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godwin Azubuike made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ibezim Odoko sent off a good shot on target. Bristol Totterdown's Okechukwu Owonaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romanus Isiaq in the 69th minute of play. Okechukwu Owonaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romanus Isiaq in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Erfan Argungu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bristol Totterdown's goalkeeper Okechukwu Owonaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Godwin Azubuike showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onwuatuegwu Olubajo in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Birmingham's zone, Ibezim Odoko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godwin Azubuike came out of the goal and Ibezim Odoko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Bristol Totterdown defense, Erfan Argungu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Okechukwu Owonaru. The Bristol Totterdown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Okechukwu Owonaru should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute Erfan Argungu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okechukwu Owonaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birmingham's Godwin Azubuike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onwuatuegwu Olubajo in the 96th minute of play. Bristol Totterdown's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
