After having played for 26 minutes, Bimbo Nworgu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stonehouse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bimbo Nworgu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magnus Ukaoha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Enoch Usiyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Warman Uduehi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nkemakolam Ezedinma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Bimbo Nworgu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enoch Usiyan. Noble stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bimbo Nworgu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Warman Uduehi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Udegbunam Onyenagorom got free with Nkemakolam Ezedinma in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, Stonehouse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Ukaoha to maneuver through the defense. Udegbunam Onyenagorom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Nkemakolam Ezedinma made a huge save. Nkemakolam Ezedinma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Warman Uduehi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Enoch Usiyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stonehouse were furious when Chi Agoye was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Stonehouse:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Noble stars:s goal. After 77 minutes, Onwughara Ejoh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noble stars and the Stonehouse players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Noble stars got a freekick which was hit by Onwughara Ejoh. In the 78th minute of the match Bimbo Nworgu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enoch Usiyan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Magnus Ukaoha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enoch Usiyan having to interfere. Usman Okutubo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Magnus Ukaoha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Ukaoha in the 98th minute of play forced Noble stars's goalkeeper Enoch Usiyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noble stars succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Stonehouse had controlled the match.
