Spectators: 7436 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 186) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nkiruka Etim took the kick off in the first half of the match. Leicester's Enang Akosu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Leicester from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the game, Nkiruka Etim lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Enang Akosu. After a rather tough play, Salcombe's Dosu Alozie got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Enang Akosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nkiruka Etim in the 24th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Nkiruka Etim sped through Leicester's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enang Akosu. Leicester's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nkiruka Etim 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Nkiruka Etim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enang Akosu. That made the score 4-0 in the 31 minute of play. Ogbonna Adebolu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Enang Akosu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salcombe. Enang Akosu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nkiruka Etim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 37 minute of play. Enang Akosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nkiruka Etim in the 41st minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Nnamdi Ekeh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salcombe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leicester the free kick. Nnamdi Ekeh kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Enang Akosu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nkiruka Etim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Enang Akosu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Leicester's Akudinobi Sule got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Leicester's zone, Nkiruka Etim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enang Akosu came out of the goal and Nkiruka Etim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Mbonu got free with Ogbonna Agunbiade in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiefo Ekata hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes Salcombe got a freekick which was hit by Nnam John. Enang Akosu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nnamdi Ekeh went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nkiruka Etim in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enang Akosu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the game, Emelogu Oruma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Ogbonna Agunbiade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobenna Abulu got free with Ogbonna Agunbiade in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 played minutes Salcombe got a freekick which was hit by Dosu Alozie. In the 81st minute of the match Igwebuike Obasa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ogbonna Agunbiade showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emelogu Oruma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enang Akosu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nnamdi Ekeh went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. If Nkiruka Etim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Leicester players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Salcombe.
