Birmingham Park

Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nkiruka Etim kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Birmingham's Innocent Eli Azuh got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Birmingham's Kiru Amadasu got a free kick in the 10th minute. Godwin Azubuike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nkiruka Etim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godwin Azubuike stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nkiruka Etim's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Salcombe's Nkiruka Etim made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godwin Azubuike was left in no man's land by his defense there! Godwin Azubuike stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nkiruka Etim's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nkiruka Etim in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godwin Azubuike prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 minutes, Nkiruka Etim made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Birmingham's Godwin Azubuike tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nkiruka Etim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godwin Azubuike having to make a save. Birmingham's Romanus Isiaq got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Nnam John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Birmingham players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Salcombe were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erfan Argungu made a kick off. Godwin Azubuike took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nkiruka Etim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godwin Azubuike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nkiruka Etim in the 57th minute of play. Nnamdi Ekeh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Birmingham's goal looked a bit too open when Nkiruka Etim came free, but Godwin Azubuike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nkiruka Etim did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Godwin Azubuike 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Innocent Eli Azuh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birmingham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salcombe the free kick. Innocent Eli Azuh kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Birmingham's goal looked a bit too open when Nkiruka Etim came free, but Godwin Azubuike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romanus Isiaq took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ogbonna Agunbiade. Ogbonna Agunbiade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 78th minute, Salcombe's Nkiruka Etim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nkiruka Etim in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godwin Azubuike saved Birmingham from getting behind. Godwin Azubuike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nkiruka Etim, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Salcombe's Nkiruka Etim in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Birmingham's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Nkiruka Etim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birmingham's Godwin Azubuike was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romanus Isiaq during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romanus Isiaq hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Salcombe left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Birmingham.
