In the 19th match minute, Noble stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nnaemeka Argungu to maneuver through the defense. Dan Mbonu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enoch Usiyan having to interfere. Kambina Datoru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enoch Usiyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emelogu Oruma in the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Dayo Pascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noble stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dayo Pascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Onwughara Ejoh hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Udegbunam Onyenagorom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Enang Akosu made a huge save. Enoch Usiyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emelogu Oruma in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Tobenna Abulu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enoch Usiyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Kambina Datoru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enoch Usiyan. Noble stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kambina Datoru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Emelogu Oruma came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Leicester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emelogu Oruma couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Noble stars's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Mbonu came free, but Enoch Usiyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dan Mbonu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Leicester's Emelogu Oruma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Warman Uduehi made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Dan Mbonu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enoch Usiyan. That made the score 0-5 in the 52 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Mbonu got free with Enoch Usiyan in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enoch Usiyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emelogu Oruma in the 57th minute of the match. When Nnaemeka Argungu fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Noble stars's protests and gave Nnaemeka Argungu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute Kambina Datoru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enoch Usiyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Leicester's Emelogu Oruma dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Onwughara Ejoh's late challenge caught a Leicester's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Onwughara Ejoh helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Onwughara Ejoh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Warman Uduehi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Dan Mbonu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Enoch Usiyan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Noble stars's Enoch Usiyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kambina Datoru in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kambina Datoru in the 73rd minute of play forced Noble stars's goalkeeper Enoch Usiyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Kambina Datoru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enoch Usiyan. The goal made the score 0-7. In the 81st minute Udegbunam Onyenagorom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enang Akosu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leicester's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
