If Amauchechukwu Shagaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the game, Bristol Totterdown's Mannaseh Ukohu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ajay Adetutu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ajay Adetutu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Amauchechukwu Shagaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester ace fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muisi Ogoriba got free with Ajay Adetutu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Muhammadu Momoh took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Okechukwu Owonaru. In the 71st minute Mannaseh Ukohu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ajay Adetutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bristol Totterdown's zone, Amauchechukwu Shagaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Okechukwu Owonaru came out of the goal and Amauchechukwu Shagaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Manchester ace's goal looked a bit too open when Onwuatuegwu Olubajo came free, but Ajay Adetutu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Bristol Totterdown got a freekick which was hit by Waga Ijiyokun. In the 83rd match minute, Manchester ace was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhammadu Momoh to maneuver through the defense. If Mannaseh Ukohu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Amauchechukwu Shagaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester ace's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amauchechukwu Shagaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ibezim Odoko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ajay Adetutu made a huge save.
