Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amauchechukwu Shagaya in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enoch Usiyan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Onwughara Ejoh kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Amauchechukwu Shagaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ajay Adetutu made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Udegbunam Onyenagorom sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Manchester ace's Kwawo Misau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enoch Usiyan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manchester ace's Ajay Adetutu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warman Uduehi in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amauchechukwu Shagaya in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enoch Usiyan saved Noble stars from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Noble stars's zone, Muhammadu Momoh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enoch Usiyan came out of the goal and Muhammadu Momoh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Amauchechukwu Shagaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enoch Usiyan was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game.

Dayo Pascal scored 1-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ajay Adetutu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute Udegbunam Onyenagorom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ajay Adetutu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Noble stars got a freekick which was hit by Onwughara Ejoh. In the 66th minute, Udegbunam Onyenagorom made a precise shot to the right of Ajay Adetutu. Manchester ace's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Noble stars's Enoch Usiyan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Noble stars from getting a goal against them. Amauchechukwu Shagaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enoch Usiyan having to interfere. Noble stars's Enoch Usiyan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Noble stars from getting a goal against them. Manchester ace's Muda Kaku got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muhammadu Momoh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enoch Usiyan having to interfere. Ajay Adetutu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udegbunam Onyenagorom in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Noble stars's Warman Uduehi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ajay Adetutu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Noble stars fans cheered their team off the field, for while Manchester ace had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
