The supporters of Hellfire FC booed when Manchester ace was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayoade Eze didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Mannaseh Akpan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hellfire FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester ace the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Hellfire FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mannaseh Akpan to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Amauchechukwu Shagaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erhabor Wadada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erhabor Wadada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uzochi Yekini in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Hellfire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amauchechukwu Shagaya came free, but Erhabor Wadada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester ace's zone, Mma Hashimu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ajay Adetutu came out of the goal and Mma Hashimu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mannaseh Akpan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hellfire FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mannaseh Akpan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ajay Adetutu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Amauchechukwu Shagaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erhabor Wadada. Hellfire FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amauchechukwu Shagaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 45 minutes into the match, Muhammadu Momoh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erhabor Wadada. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osi Hamma in the 73rd minute of play forced Manchester ace's goalkeeper Ajay Adetutu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erhabor Wadada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauchechukwu Shagaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Odebunmi Adekanmbi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match Ibe Moses sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ajay Adetutu skillfully saved the ball. Erhabor Wadada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauchechukwu Shagaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Omanukwue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Erhabor Wadada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute of the match, Amauchechukwu Shagaya tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erhabor Wadada saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Manchester ace players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
