Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eluemuno Eghagha kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Erfan Argungu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egobudike Ishola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Birmingham's Erfan Argungu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egobudike Ishola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Birmingham's Oluchi Ama-Nwauwa got a free kick in the 6th minute. Neen Sollars's Ekpeyong Koshoni got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Neen Sollars's goalkeeper Egobudike Ishola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romanus Isiaq. After having played for 14 minutes, Onodugo Agbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neen Sollars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Onodugo Agbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godwin Azubuike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekpeyong Koshoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ekpeyong Koshoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godwin Azubuike having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Neen Sollars's zone, Kiru Amadasu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egobudike Ishola came out of the goal and Kiru Amadasu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrew Kawu charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrew Kawu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Andrew Kawu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Bosun Onime from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Egobudike Ishola's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ekpeyong Koshoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godwin Azubuike having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Eluemuno Eghagha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neen Sollars's supporters rose to their feet, but Eluemuno Eghagha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godwin Azubuike breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godwin Azubuike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eluemuno Eghagha, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Birmingham's Innocent Eli Azuh got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ekpeyong Koshoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ekpeyong Koshoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Godwin Azubuike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erfan Argungu to make the kick off. If Eluemuno Eghagha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erfan Argungu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egobudike Ishola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Godwin Azubuike showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eluemuno Eghagha in the 62nd minute of the match. Eluemuno Eghagha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Godwin Azubuike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romanus Isiaq fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egobudike Ishola having to interfere. When Jere Ugo Osafo fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neen Sollars's protests and gave Jere Ugo Osafo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute of the match Oluchi Ama-Nwauwa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egobudike Ishola skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Romanus Isiaq managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birmingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Romanus Isiaq was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egobudike Ishola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Erfan Argungu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Birmingham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Egobudike Ishola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romanus Isiaq in the 81st minute of play. When Eluemuno Eghagha came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Neen Sollars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eluemuno Eghagha couldn't finish the play. Innocent Eli Azuh kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Ozo Bamgbelu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Birmingham's Godwin Azubuike didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Neen Sollars's Jere Ugo Osafo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Erfan Argungu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Egobudike Ishola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neen Sollars were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
