Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ishaq Iheanacho started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Nailsworth's goalkeeper Onyema Adebona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nwachinemelu Nkwocha. After 6 played minutes Nailsworth got a freekick which was hit by Chiemela Skinn. After a rather tough play, Blue stars's Jibrin Emenike got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Chiemela Skinn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yemi Odumegwu skillfully saved the ball. After 15 minutes, Nduka Akinbiyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nailsworth and the Blue stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nduka Akinbiyi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nwachinemelu Nkwocha in the 17th minute of play forced Nailsworth's goalkeeper Onyema Adebona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Ekundayo Aborishade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nwachinemelu Nkwocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Onyema Adebona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Onyema Adebona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nwachukwu Okoduwa in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Nwachinemelu Nkwocha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Onyema Adebona, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 55 minutes of play, Blue stars's Nwachinemelu Nkwocha made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Onyema Adebona was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 61st play minutes Ishaq Iheanacho shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Yemi Odumegwu and just under the crossbar into goal. Onyema Adebona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nwachinemelu Nkwocha in the 64th minute of play. Onyema Adebona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute Nwachinemelu Nkwocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onyema Adebona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blue stars's Yemi Odumegwu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ishaq Iheanacho in the 79th minute of play. Onyema Adebona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nwachinemelu Nkwocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nwachinemelu Nkwocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Onyema Adebona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blue stars's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
