Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Borrinchas's Pius Animam started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Borrinchas getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Igwe Isuku hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Borrinchas's goalkeeper Chi-Chi Abimbola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ime Sunday Egbanabo. Chi-Chi Abimbola made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ime Sunday Egbanabo sent off a good shot on target. Borrinchas's Martins Imhagwe got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 13th play minutes Pius Animam shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Radomil Olender and just under the crossbar into goal. Chinwemma Adebote's late challenge caught a Borrinchas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chinwemma Adebote helped the player get up and apologised. Borrinchas made a substitution. Muhammadu Shittu replaced Nwosu Uga. In the 17th minute, Chinwemma Adebote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borrinchas's Chi-Chi Abimbola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Borrinchas from getting a goal against them. After 22 minutes, Pius Animam made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Enjoy Yourself's Radomil Olender tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Enjoy Yourself's goalkeeper Radomil Olender, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pius Animam in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radomil Olender prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute Chinwemma Adebote shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chi-Chi Abimbola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pius Animam took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radomil Olender. Radomil Olender dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Pius Animam struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Radomil Olender didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borrinchas. Ime Sunday Egbanabo charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ime Sunday Egbanabo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ime Sunday Egbanabo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Chinwemma Adebote made the kick off in the second half. Enjoy Yourself's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Pius Animam scored to the left of an out of position Radomil Olender, making the score, 0-6. In the 60th minute, Kunaiyi Onuabunchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otitodilichukwu Omololu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Radomil Olender. Enjoy Yourself's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pius Animam got free with Radomil Olender in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ime Sunday Egbanabo got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 66 played minutes Enjoy Yourself got a freekick which was hit by Ime Sunday Egbanabo. Pius Animams short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Radomil Olender to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pius Animam in the 73rd minute of play forced Enjoy Yourself's goalkeeper Radomil Olender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chioke Awoyo charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chioke Awoyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chioke Awoyo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Martins Imhagwe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radomil Olender. Martins Imhagwe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. 84 minutes into the match, Enjoy Yourself's goalkeeper Radomil Olender had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pius Animam. After 86 minutes, Kunaiyi Onuabunchi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enjoy Yourself and the Borrinchas players grew even worse after the yellow card.
