Seating: 1815, VIP seats: 160) Flitwick's Duada Uzoezie started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Ijeagha adegbenjo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Olisanugo Udoka. Murtala Ikeh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aderounmu Njoku was a little too slow when Duada Uzoezie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 15th minute of the match Murtala Ikeh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aderounmu Njoku skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Olaleye Sherif managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flitwick's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olaleye Sherif was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Flitwick's zone, Ijeagha adegbenjo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olisanugo Udoka came out of the goal and Ijeagha adegbenjo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Akpan Hashimu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ijeagha adegbenjo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olisanugo Udoka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olisanugo Udoka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ijeagha adegbenjo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Ijeagha adegbenjo charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ijeagha adegbenjo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Ikedi Ayi fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flitwick's protests and gave Ikedi Ayi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Flitwick getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ikedi Ayi hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Daniel united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akpan Hashimu to maneuver through the defense. Olisanugo Udoka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ijeagha adegbenjo's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Olaleye Sherif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aderounmu Njoku having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Aderounmu Njoku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duada Uzoezie, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ijeagha adegbenjos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Olisanugo Udoka to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aderounmu Njoku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murtala Ikeh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ijeagha adegbenjo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ijeagha adegbenjo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ijeagha adegbenjo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Olisanugo Udoka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bamisile Aghanya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flitwick's Duada Uzoezie got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 minutes of play, Flitwick's Duada Uzoezie made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aderounmu Njoku was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ijeagha adegbenjo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel united's Aderounmu Njoku played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murtala Ikeh in the 83rd minute of play. Ijeagha adegbenjo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Flitwick were the better team. Flitwick's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
