The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nwachinemelu Nkwocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clever Adeniran came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yemi Odumegwu could save by the left post. In the 60th minute, Nwachinemelu Nkwocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Okolocha Felix Alaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nwachinemelu Nkwocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Jibrin Emenike managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spalding's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blue stars the free kick. Onyeka Adegbesan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The referee ignored Spalding's protests and gave Clever Adeniran a yellow card for diving instead.
