Spectators: 7975 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1815, VIP seats: 160) Flitwick's Duada Uzoezie started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Okolocha Felix Alaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaleye Sherif in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Duada Uzoezie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Okolocha Felix Alaba was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Duada Uzoezie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Okolocha Felix Alaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duada Uzoezie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okolocha Felix Alaba having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Spalding was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes, Akin Nnabugwu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spalding and the Flitwick players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Spalding fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Murtala Ikeh placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 27th minute Clever Adeniran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olisanugo Udoka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Onyeka Adegbesan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spalding fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Flitwick defense, Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olisanugo Udoka. The Flitwick fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olisanugo Udoka should have stopped the shot. Olisanugo Udoka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onyeka Adegbesan's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Duada Uzoezie was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 44 minutes into the match, Flitwick's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare came free, but Olisanugo Udoka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Onyeka Adegbesan was the one to do the kick off. When Duada Uzoezie came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Flitwick fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duada Uzoezie couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute Murtala Ikeh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okolocha Felix Alaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murtala Ikeh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Okolocha Felix Alaba having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duada Uzoezie in the 62nd minute of play forced Spalding's goalkeeper Okolocha Felix Alaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duada Uzoezie scored 1-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Okolocha Felix Alaba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olaleye Sherif charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olaleye Sherif the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Olaleye Sherif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flitwick's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Onyeka Adegbesan scored to the left of an out of position Olisanugo Udoka, making the score, 1-3. In the 82nd minute Murtala Ikeh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okolocha Felix Alaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okolocha Felix Alaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duada Uzoezie in the 83rd minute of play. Duada Uzoezie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murtala Ikeh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Okolocha Felix Alaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Olisanugo Udoka made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Spalding's zone, Duada Uzoezie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Okolocha Felix Alaba came out of the goal and Duada Uzoezie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Austin Oloukun's late challenge caught a Flitwick's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Austin Oloukun helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Spalding getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Austin Oloukun hit a great ball.
