Spectators: 5043 (Terracing: 4040, Seating: 1002, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Okelola Etafia started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Daniel united got a freekick which was hit by Kunaiyi Oladapo. Okelola Etafia's late challenge caught a Daniel united's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Okelola Etafia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Okelola Etafia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ifeanyi Uwaegbute during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Paulinam fc getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ifeanyi Uwaegbute hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Paulinam fc's goalkeeper Obialo Onyemachi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ijeagha adegbenjo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ijeagha adegbenjo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Obialo Onyemachi saved Paulinam fc from getting behind. In the 15thth minute of the game Ijeagha adegbenjo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paulinam fc's Obialo Onyemachi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Obialo Onyemachi came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Daniel united's Ijeagha adegbenjo. But to his dismay, Ijeagha adegbenjo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ijeagha adegbenjo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 minutes, Ekene Ayinla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulinam fc and the Daniel united players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Daniel united booed when Paulinam fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekene Ayinla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes, Daniel united's Akpan Hashimu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Obialo Onyemachi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Daniel united reached it. Daniel united's Ijeli Mbong got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Obialo Onyemachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akpan Hashimu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Paulinam fc's goal looked a bit too open when Akpan Hashimu came free, but Obialo Onyemachi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akpan Hashimu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ijeli Mbong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Daniel united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akpan Hashimu to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ijeagha adegbenjo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Daniel united's Ijeagha adegbenjo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Kunaiyi Oladapo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Ijeagha adegbenjo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Obialo Onyemachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulinam fc's Obialo Onyemachi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ijeagha adegbenjo in the 79th minute of play. Robai Julius Abulu made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kunaiyi Oladapo immediately put the ball in play. Obialo Onyemachi came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Daniel united's Kunaiyi Oladapo. But to his dismay, Kunaiyi Oladapo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ifeanyi Uwaegbute was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ifeanyi Uwaegbute hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ijeagha adegbenjo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Ijeagha adegbenjo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Paulinam fc's Obialo Onyemachi. Obialo Onyemachi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Daniel united fully deserved thier win.
