Habakkuk Isibor took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Onyema Adebona. Onyema Adebona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Chinwo Bature who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Jushua Sati Tunde when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Gideon Abah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ishaq Iheanacho in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jushua Sati Tunde saved Hendon from getting behind. Gideon Abah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jushua Sati Tunde having to interfere. Jushua Sati Tunde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ishaq Iheanacho in the 24th minute of play. Habakkuk Isibor's late challenge caught a Nailsworth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ishaq Iheanacho to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Hendon got a freekick which was hit by Jeremiah Ohuabunwa.
