After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ime Sunday Egbanabo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Enjoy Yourself's supporters rose to their feet, but Ime Sunday Egbanabo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Obialo Onyemachi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Kunaiyi Onuabunchi made a precise shot to the right of Obialo Onyemachi. Paulinam fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Obialo Onyemachi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chioke Awoyo in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
