Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Onuchukwu Olerum started the match with the kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Diss's Ositadimma Odiaka in the 3rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Okolocha Felix Alaba was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Spalding through an amazing save. Clever Adeniran kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clever Akpala having to interfere. Clever Akpala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onyeka Adegbesan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clever Akpala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Onuchukwu Olerum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Okolocha Felix Alaba made a huge save. Diss's Onuchukwu Olerum got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Onuchukwu Olerum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Okolocha Felix Alaba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Onuchukwu Olerum in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, Tajudeen Ajanaku cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Okolocha Felix Alaba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 25 played minutes Diss got a freekick which was hit by Agboola Nwaolikpe. Ositadimma Odiaka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Okolocha Felix Alaba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Onuchukwu Olerum in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Okolocha Felix Alaba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Onuchukwu Olerum's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Okolocha Felix Alaba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Clever Akpala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 40th match minute, Spalding was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clever Adeniran to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare in the 43rd minute of play forced Diss's goalkeeper Clever Akpala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Diss's goal looked a bit too open when Onyeka Adegbesan came free, but Clever Akpala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diss's Clever Akpala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onyeka Adegbesan in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Onyeka Adegbesan made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare got free with Clever Akpala in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmad Okhumeode Adejares short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Clever Akpala to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 54 minutes, Venantius Atoyebi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diss and the Spalding players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clever Akpala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Ositadimma Odiaka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Okolocha Felix Alaba. Spalding's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ositadimma Odiaka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 74thth minute of the game Onuchukwu Olerum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spalding's Okolocha Felix Alaba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Okolocha Felix Alaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onuchukwu Olerum in the 76th minute of the match. Clever Akpala made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Onyeka Adegbesan sent off a good shot on target. After 85 played minutes Diss got a freekick which was hit by Kieffers Abaku. Clever Akpala came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Spalding's Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare. But to his dismay, Ahmad Okhumeode Adejare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Diss's Ositadimma Odiaka in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spalding's goalie prevented a goal. When Ositadimma Odiaka came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Diss fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ositadimma Odiaka couldn't finish the play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Onuchukwu Olerum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spalding's Okolocha Felix Alaba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Spalding had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
