Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Duada Uzoezie started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Falcons FC's zone, Duada Uzoezie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chidinma Udenkwele came out of the goal and Duada Uzoezie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute of the match Flitwick got a corner. Falcons FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Murtala Ikeh ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chidinma Udenkwele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duada Uzoezie in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Flitwick's Olisanugo Udoka got control of the ball when Gozie Nwobodo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Olisanugo Udoka managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Falcons FC's Gozie Nwobodo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Falcons FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Yakwen Osanyintuyi hit a great ball. Chidinma Udenkwele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duada Uzoezie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes, Falcons FC's Yakwen Osanyintuyi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olisanugo Udoka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Falcons FC reached it. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kete Titus Ugochukwu to strike the kick off in the second half. Duada Uzoezie struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Chidinma Udenkwele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flitwick. In the 67th minute, Yakwen Osanyintuyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 67 minutes, Murtala Ikeh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flitwick's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murtala Ikeh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duada Uzoezie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute of the match, Duada Uzoezie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chidinma Udenkwele saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murtala Ikeh in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kete Titus Ugochukwu in the 74th minute of play forced Flitwick's goalkeeper Olisanugo Udoka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olisanugo Udoka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gozie Nwobodo in the 76th minute of the match. Chidinma Udenkwele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duada Uzoezie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olisanugo Udoka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kete Titus Ugochukwu went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Falcons FC booed when Flitwick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muazzam Nwagborocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 minutes, Muazzam Nwagborocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flitwick and the Falcons FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
