Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Onuchukwu Olerum got the match started through his kick off. Chidinma Udenkwele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ositadimma Odiaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 7 played minutes, Falcons FC's Jamilu Alerechi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clever Akpala came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Falcons FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onuchukwu Olerum in the 9th minute of play forced Falcons FC's goalkeeper Chidinma Udenkwele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ositadimma Odiaka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes, Obinna Omolade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diss and the Falcons FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Diss getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Obinna Omolade hit a great ball. Onuchukwu Olerum took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chidinma Udenkwele. Chidinma Udenkwele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 26th minute of the match Venantius Atoyebi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chidinma Udenkwele skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute Ositadimma Odiaka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chidinma Udenkwele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Agboola Nwaolikpe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chidinma Udenkwele skillfully saved the ball. When Diss's Ositadimma Odiaka in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falcons FC's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Chukwubuikem Dombraye was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falcons FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diss the free kick. The supporters of Diss booed when Falcons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chukwubuikem Dombraye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venantius Atoyebi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Kieffers Abaku kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Diss's Onuchukwu Olerum in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falcons FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 42nd minute, Falcons FC's Jamilu Alerechi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jamilu Alerechi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Falcons FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jamilu Alerechi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 42nd minute, one of Falcons FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Falcons FC. The referee gave Diss a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ositadimma Odiaka, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele. 0-2. After the first half Diss were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gozie Nwobodo made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ositadimma Odiaka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chidinma Udenkwele was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute, Ositadimma Odiaka fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Chidinma Udenkwele, passed just outside the right post. Onuchukwu Olerum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Chidinma Udenkwele made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Diss's Ositadimma Odiaka dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Falcons FC! When the match had been going on for 69 minutes, Diss's Ositadimma Odiaka got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Chidinma Udenkwele. After having played for 72 minutes, Chidubem Adanri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falcons FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chidubem Adanri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ositadimma Odiaka came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Diss fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ositadimma Odiaka couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ositadimma Odiaka in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chidinma Udenkwele saved Falcons FC from getting behind. Falcons FC's Chidinma Udenkwele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onuchukwu Olerum in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ositadimma Odiaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diss's supporters rose to their feet, but Ositadimma Odiaka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chidinma Udenkwele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diss played a much better game than Falcons FC and deserved their victory. The Falcons FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
