Rufus Ajayi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson-Arantes Okocha in the 4th minute of play. Ozulu Oyeoku charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ozulu Oyeoku the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ozulu Oyeoku kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Rufus Ajayi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kelvin Nwogu in the 6th minute. Rufus Ajayi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guy Monzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Torpoint City getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Iloabuchi Ajide hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Guy Monzon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rufus Ajayi, 1-0. Kelvin Nwogu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rufus Ajayi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. OK8CHA MZT's Kelvin Nwogu got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nyongun Emenalo took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joseph Adepero. Joseph Adepero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Kelvin Nwogu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Guy Monzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guy Monzon charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Joseph Adepero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nyongun Emenalo in the 31st minute of play. Rufus Ajayi came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by OK8CHA MZT's Kelvin Nwogu. But to his dismay, Kelvin Nwogu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Kelvin Nwogu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rufus Ajayi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson-Arantes Okocha in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, OK8CHA MZT's Guy Monzon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. After some careless play in the OK8CHA MZT defense, Nyongun Emenalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joseph Adepero. The OK8CHA MZT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joseph Adepero should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Guy Monzon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OK8CHA MZT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2.
In the 56th minute, Cosmin Iosif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Dick George from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Joseph Adepero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Iloabuchi Ajide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Joseph Adepero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kelvin Nwogu scored 6-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rufus Ajayi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 69 minutes, Saidi Ayara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torpoint City and the OK8CHA MZT players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Torpoint City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saidi Ayara to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Guy Monzon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rufus Ajayi. Torpoint City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guy Monzon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. Dick George's late challenge caught a OK8CHA MZT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dick George helped the player get up and apologised. Rufus Ajayi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guy Monzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes, Guy Monzon made it 8-2 with a short kick to the right side. Torpoint City's Rufus Ajayi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joseph Adepero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nyongun Emenalo in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute Saidi Ayara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Adepero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kelvin Nwogu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Ajayi having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. OK8CHA MZT fully deserved thier win.
