The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uzochukwu Etuhu was the one to do the kick off. When Haydar Kazakhan fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cowplain's protests and gave Haydar Kazakhan a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Cowplain got a freekick which was hit by Haydar Kazakhan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ikechukwu Garo got free with Josef Škrabánek in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nwokike Douglas during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
