Spectators: 9700 (Terracing: 7500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 200) Ugochukwu Eshieshi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's zone, Tochi Oluwafemi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wise Monye came out of the goal and Tochi Oluwafemi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Chigo Abdu. But to his dismay, Chigo Abdu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Yoruba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ugochukwu Eshieshi came free, but Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Tochi Oluwafemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wise Monye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tochi Oluwafemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Wise Monye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eby Abodunrin in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Ugochukwu Eshieshi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo. Yoruba FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ugochukwu Eshieshi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 28th minute Ugochukwu Eshieshi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chigo Abdu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Yoruba FC's Wise Monye threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tochi Oluwafemi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wise Monye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tochi Oluwafemi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ginikanwa Kalipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Wise Monye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Festus Owotoki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wise Monye having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the game Kurzform Ezeonyebuchi made a throw-in which Ikedinachukwu Ekong played forward. The Yoruba FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 were winning 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's goal looked a bit too open when Festus Owotoki came free, but Wise Monye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wise Monye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tochi Oluwafemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Eby Abodunrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Wise Monye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Amauchechukwu Yobo. But to his dismay, Amauchechukwu Yobo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Amauchechukwu Yobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo having to interfere. Ime Sunday Erukpeme charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ime Sunday Erukpeme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 got a freekick which was hit by Bello Okoronkwo. Tochi Oluwafemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wise Monye having to interfere. Amauchechukwu Yobo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Chukwudi Henry Odhiambo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wise Monye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tochi Oluwafemi, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tochi Oluwafemi in the 83rd minute of play forced LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's goalkeeper Wise Monye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wise Monye didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tochi Oluwafemi went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Festus Owotoki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rdth minute of the game Tochi Oluwafemi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Wise Monye was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wise Monye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tochi Oluwafemi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Yoruba FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 to win.
