Spectators: 10864 (Terracing: 8149, Seating: 2499, VIP seats: 216) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Azly Vijiaratnam took the kick off in the first half of the match. Brighouse FC's Billy Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uzochukwu Etuhu in the 2nd minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Brighouse FC's Azly Vijiaratnam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Obika Olutola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ebelechukwu Agoda hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Bitrus Abia hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Highland Eagles AFC got a freekick which was hit by Uzoma Amaechina. Obika Olutola was a little too slow when Shen Xun Yu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Obika Olutola didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Obika Olutola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azly Vijiaratnam in the 20th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Brighouse FC got a freekick which was hit by Ebelechukwu Agoda. 26 minutes into the match, Shen Xun Yu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Obika Olutola. Highland Eagles AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shen Xun Yu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Obika Olutola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azly Vijiaratnam in the 30th minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Sochi Ugochukwu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Highland Eagles AFC's Obika Olutola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Obika Olutola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ebelechukwu Agoda went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Uzochukwu Etuhu took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Billy Tunberg. Billy Tunberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uzochukwu Etuhu to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ebelechukwu Agoda notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Highland Eagles AFC's Obika Olutola. Obika Olutola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Highland Eagles AFC's Obika Olutola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ebelechukwu Agoda in the 61st minute of play. Obika Olutola came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brighouse FC's Shen Xun Yu. But to his dismay, Shen Xun Yu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Billy Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ikechukwu Garo in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sochi Ugochukwu in the 67th minute of play forced Highland Eagles AFC's goalkeeper Obika Olutola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Highland Eagles AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Abishai Adefarakan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shen Xun Yu in the 78th minute of play forced Highland Eagles AFC's goalkeeper Obika Olutola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ebelechukwu Agoda scored 8-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Obika Olutola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brighouse FC's Sochi Ugochukwu got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Highland Eagles AFC's Obika Olutola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azly Vijiaratnam in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brighouse FC's Chimaobim Oyinlola got a free kick in the 86th minute. Sochi Ugochukwu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Obika Olutola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Brighouse FC got a freekick which was hit by Eloka Waziri. Billy Tunberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ikechukwu Garo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billy Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ikechukwu Garo in the 95th minute of play.
