After 5 minutes, Saidi Ayara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torpoint City and the Cheddar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Torpoint City's Rufus Ajayi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Oxel in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, 秦森星 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cheddar's supporters crossed their fingers, but 秦森星 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ozulu Oyeoku hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The Cheddar fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Cheddar's 秦森星 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 秦森星 kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, 秦森星 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Cheddar's Adegun Chimezie Akandu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The referee ignored Torpoint City's protests and gave Nyongun Emenalo a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Torpoint City got a freekick which was hit by Nyongun Emenalo. In the 33rdth minute of the game 秦森星 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torpoint City's Rufus Ajayi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rufus Ajayi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ogunmola Olagoke Ohajuruka in the 47th minute of the match. The Torpoint City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cheddar were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nyongun Emenalo to make the kick off. Oniwor Babatope hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Cheddar's goal looked a bit too open when Iloabuchi Ajide came free, but Somadina Okeke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Torpoint City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uwakwe Aguma to maneuver through the defense. Saidi Ayara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Ogunmola Olagoke Ohajuruka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rufus Ajayi. Ogunmola Olagoke Ohajuruka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. After 72 minutes of play, Cheddar's 秦森星 made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rufus Ajayi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Torpoint City's zone, 秦森星 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rufus Ajayi came out of the goal and 秦森星 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cheddar made a substitution. Kingsley Apam replaced 秦森星. With a little luck, Torpoint City's Rufus Ajayi got control of the ball when Nwanne Abhiele tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kingsley Apam who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Rufus Ajayi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nyongun Emenalo got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Cheddar booed when Torpoint City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nyongun Emenalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Cheddar fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Cheddar's Kingsley Apam looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match was over Cheddar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Torpoint City throughout the match.
