In the 17th minute Leandro Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Oresanya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdul Oresanya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Okwii Nwoke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerónimo Bettencourt having to make a save. Big Egø's late challenge caught a LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Big Egø helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 booed when Tortugas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Big Egø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdul Oresanya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Aires's shot from short distance in the 39th minute.
