Yuften Sarraj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aghilas Ben Barek in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Casablanca AS's zone, Ismael Baha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chakib El Amrani came out of the goal and Ismael Baha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Ayman Akaaboune had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chakib El Amrani. Casablanca AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ayman Akaaboune was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ayman Akaaboune fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chakib El Amrani having to interfere. If Aghilas Ben Barek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Khouribga Union Sportive getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sajed Amazigh hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Aghilas Ben Barek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atbir Azaouagh made a kick off. Atbir Azaouagh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuften Sarraj having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Khouribga Union Sportive had won after a very even match.
