An unexpectedly hard shot by Wali Chafni in the 4th minute of play forced Ben Taib's goalkeeper Cicungh Armoumen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Souleimane Zerouali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soufian Bousselham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soufian Bousselham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Souleimane Zerouali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soufian Bousselham, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Fouad El Bounadi kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ifrane Youssoufia's Udad Touzani tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gulusa Daoudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ifrane Youssoufia's zone, Soufian Bousselham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Souleimane Zerouali came out of the goal and Soufian Bousselham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Souleimane Zerouali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Soufian Bousselham's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Gulusa Daoudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Gulusa Daoudi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Souleimane Zerouali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gulusa Daoudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Souleimane Zerouali having to interfere. Udad Touzani hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Soufian Bousselham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ben Taib fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Souleimane Zerouali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soufian Bousselham, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gulusa Daoudi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ben Taib's supporters rose to their feet, but Gulusa Daoudi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Souleimane Zerouali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Soufian Bousselham was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Zouheir Achik sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ben Taib's Cicungh Armoumen didn't even have to move. If Gulusa Daoudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soufian Bousselham might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Souleimane Zerouali. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Soufian Bousselham ran back to his position shaking his head. Gulusa Daoudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gulusa Daoudis short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Souleimane Zerouali to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zouheir Achik hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Cicungh Armoumen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wali Chafni in the 69th minute of play. If Soufian Bousselham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gulusa Daoudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ben Taib's Gulusa Daoudi got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ifrane Youssoufia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Soufian Bousselham 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. In the 79th match minute, Ifrane Youssoufia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ouassim Alloudi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Gulusa Daoudi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 86 minutes into the match, Ifrane Youssoufia's goalkeeper Souleimane Zerouali had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gulusa Daoudi. Ifrane Youssoufia's Souleimane Zerouali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soufian Bousselham in the 88th minute of play. Ajeddig Ouchalla hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ben Taib's zone, Wali Chafni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cicungh Armoumen came out of the goal and Wali Chafni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, Ifrane Youssoufia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zouheir Achik to maneuver through the defense. Ifrane Youssoufia's Souleimane Zerouali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soufian Bousselham in the 97th minute of play. Ben Taib played a much better game than Ifrane Youssoufia and deserved their victory. The Ifrane Youssoufia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
