Misifsen Maaroufi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amin Fellah having to interfere. Nizar El Hadrioui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Boutahar El Hirech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monir Maaroufi hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Boutahar El Hirech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faouzi Berkouch in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faouzi Berkouch in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boutahar El Hirech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boutahar El Hirech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nizar El Hadrioui, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Faouzi Berkouch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tanger's Boutahar El Hirech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Taoufiq Ouchalla kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Casablanca AS's Saad Jadid pulled a muscle in his back after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Rachid Zerka fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tanger's protests and gave Rachid Zerka a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Casablanca AS booed when Tanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Zerka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boutahar El Hirech came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Casablanca AS's Faouzi Berkouch. But to his dismay, Faouzi Berkouch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faouzi Berkouch in the 35th minute of play forced Tanger's goalkeeper Boutahar El Hirech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Misifsen Maaroufi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Misifsen Maaroufi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Faouzi Berkouch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Casablanca AS booed when Tanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Misifsen Maaroufi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Faouzi Berkouch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boutahar El Hirech. Tanger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faouzi Berkouch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

The wind increased when Monir Maaroufi made the kick off in the second half. Taoufiq Ouchalla kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Tanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taoufiq Ouchalla to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes, Casablanca AS's Azayku Zeryouh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boutahar El Hirech came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Casablanca AS reached it. Casablanca AS's Faouzi Berkouch got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tanger's Taha Boukhari got a free kick in the 67th minute. Boutahar El Hirech made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Faouzi Berkouch sent off a good shot on target. Nizar Malki kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Casablanca AS's Azayku Zeryouh couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tanger. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Anir Sarhani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casablanca AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Anir Sarhani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boutahar El Hirech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 89 minutes of play Tanger's Taha Boukhari was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Taha Boukhari kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Tanger got a freekick which was hit by Igider Kharbouchi. Casablanca AS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
