After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Jawad Talih managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berkane Hassania's supporters rose to their feet, but Jawad Talih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ibrahim Hamdani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khouribga's goalkeeper Ibrahim Hamdani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aylal Belabed struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ibrahim Hamdani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berkane Hassania. 41 minutes into the game, Berkane Hassania's Jawad Bakkal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jawad Talih in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ibrahim Hamdani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ibrahim Hamdani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jawad Talih in the 46th minute of the match. Jawad Bakkal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 48th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Agwmar Didouh's late challenge caught a Berkane Hassania's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agwmar Didouh helped the player get up and apologised.
