In the 4th minute Maysar El Akchaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afalkay Molhamam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afalkay Molhamam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afulay Erbati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moutawakkil Aini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Raja Aini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeineddine Aissati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afulay Erbati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afalkay Molhamam having to interfere. Chokri Akaaboune fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raja Aini having to interfere. Berkane Union's Zeineddine Aissati got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. wydad.ac's Raja Aini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save wydad.ac from getting a goal against them. Zeineddine Aissati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Raja Aini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Maysar El Akchaoui came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the wydad.ac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maysar El Akchaoui couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeineddine Aissati was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, wydad.ac's Salah El Kaoutar got a free kick in the 51st minute. Nadir Fellah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raja Aini. wydad.ac's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 54th minute, Zeineddine Aissati ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raja Aini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 67th minute, Afulay Erbati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afulay Erbati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moutawakkil Aini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Raja Aini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Berkane Union's Isul Mousaber got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Berkane Union was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Talal El Morabet to maneuver through the defense. Maysar El Akchaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afalkay Molhamam having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Zeineddine Benkhirane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afulay Erbati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Afalkay Molhamam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Berkane Union had won after a very even match.
