Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Adil Hidiouad started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Essaouira's Fathi Rwina in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ifrane's goalie prevented a goal. The Ifrane fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Ifrane's Adil Hidiouad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ifrane's Ashraf Daoudi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fathi Rwina in the 12th minute of play. If Adil Hidiouad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salah Armoumen hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Karim Zerouali's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ashraf Daoudi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Fathi Rwina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashraf Daoudi having to interfere. Karim Zerouali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashraf Daoudi having to interfere. Adil Hidiouad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ramzi Soauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilal Rhanem charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilal Rhanem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ifrane booed when Essaouira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilal Rhanem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salim Kachloul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramzi Soauri having to make a save. Salim Kachloul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adil Hidiouad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramzi Soauri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Essaouira's goal looked a bit too open when Adil Hidiouad came free, but Ramzi Soauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
If Fathi Rwina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Ifrane's Salim Kachloul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramzi Soauri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Ramzi Soauri managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Ifrane's Adil Hidiouad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ramzi Soauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Hidiouad in the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Karim Zerouali managed to get in a good position for a shot. Essaouira's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Zerouali was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ashraf Daoudi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karim Zerouali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ashraf Daoudi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 67th minute when Fathi Rwina elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ashraf Daoudi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Zerouali in the 71st minute of play. Adil Hidiouad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramzi Soauri having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match Salah Armoumen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ashraf Daoudi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Salim Kachloul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ramzi Soauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adil Hidiouad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adil Hidiouad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ramzi Soauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Adil Hidiouad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salim Kachloul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramzi Soauri having to interfere. Ramzi Soauri came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ifrane's Salim Kachloul. But to his dismay, Salim Kachloul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Ifrane left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Essaouira.
