With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wajih Bassir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aghilas Armoumen during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Asilah got a freekick which was hit by Aghilas Armoumen. In the 34th minute, Marrakech got a penalty, and Abdellatif Lamin placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Faouzi Ziati managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marrakech's supporters rose to their feet, but Faouzi Ziati was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wajih Bassir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Othmane El Bahri hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Asilah's Wajih Bassir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Asilah from getting a goal against them. 2-0 became the score in the 44th minute when Faouzi Ziati elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nouri Benthami received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wajih Bassir came out and tried to block the shot, but Nouri Benthami slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Faouzi Ziati made the kick off in the second half. If Faouzi Ziati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Asilah's zone, Faouzi Ziati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wajih Bassir came out of the goal and Faouzi Ziati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st match minute, Asilah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Othmane El Bahri to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Abdellatif Lamin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wajih Bassir showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nouri Benthami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Afra Lamin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Asilah's Aziz Taouni in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marrakech's goalie prevented a goal. Wajih Bassir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nouri Benthami, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 80th minute Nouri Benthami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wajih Bassir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Marrakech was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fouad Kouha to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Nouri Benthami cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Wajih Bassir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 87 played minutes Marrakech got a freekick which was hit by Agwilal Zairi. If Nouri Benthami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wajih Bassir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faouzi Ziati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Faouzi Ziati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wajih Bassir was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nouri Benthami in the 98th minute of play forced Asilah's goalkeeper Wajih Bassir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
