Maghreb El Fassi's Winitran Oulhaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaya El Karkouri in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hisham Belhaj in the 14th minute of play forced Maghreb El Fassi's goalkeeper Winitran Oulhaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Jalal Madih ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Winitran Oulhaj was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Tarfaya's Saif Ouhaki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Winitran Oulhaj made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Maghreb El Fassi's Salem Zerouali got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tarfaya's goalkeeper Kamal Boukemouch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Gaya El Karkouri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tarfaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maghreb El Fassi the free kick. Gaya El Karkouri kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rachid Fouhami during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Maghreb El Fassi getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Rachid Fouhami hit a great ball. Winitran Oulhaj didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaya El Karkouri went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Winitran Oulhaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tamir El Moubarki, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Maghreb El Fassi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tarfaya were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Tamir El Moubarki made the kick off in the second half. Maghreb El Fassi were furious when Rachid Fouhami was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maghreb El Fassi! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salem Zerouali during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sami Benthami's late challenge caught a Tarfaya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hisham Belhaj got free with Winitran Oulhaj in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 98th minute Tamir El Moubarki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winitran Oulhaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
