Bukkus Abdelghani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Misifsen Miftah shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 25 minutes into the match, taronto 1879's goalkeeper Monir Jbilou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bukkus Abdelghani. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nouri Diba got free with Monir Jbilou in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Salam Ait Omar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afaw Boulami came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by taronto 1879's Afra Abdessadki. But to his dismay, Afra Abdessadki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. taronto 1879's Monir Jbilou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save taronto 1879 from getting a goal against them. Afaw Boulami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilal Jbilou, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Bukkus Abdelghani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monir Jbilou having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Afra Abdessadki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Salam Ait Omar notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Kenitra's Afaw Boulami. Afaw Boulami was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half.
