The crowd rose to their feet as Larache Olympique's Rami El Idrissi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Irat Mehdi. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Larache Olympique's zone, Tahir El Khalej stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tamin Tiberkanin came out of the goal and Tahir El Khalej tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Rami El Idrissi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Al-Hoceima Youssoufia's Irat Mehdi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Rami El Idrissi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 36 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Al-Hoceima Youssoufia's Tahir El Khalej fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Kamil Touzani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tahir El Khalej's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tamin Tiberkanin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Tamin Tiberkanin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamil Touzani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tahir El Khalej made the kick off in the second half. Tamin Tiberkanin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Winaruz Roumani showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 54 minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Al-Hoceima Youssoufia's Rida Bendriss broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Tahir El Khalej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Kamil Touzani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Al-Hoceima Youssoufia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamil Touzani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tahir El Khalej in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tamin Tiberkanin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Irat Mehdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asafar Bouhaja, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Larache Olympique's Asafar Bouhaja got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tamin Tiberkanin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahir El Khalej in the 74th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Larache Olympique's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kamil Touzani fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 87 minutes into the match, Tahir El Khalej dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tamin Tiberkanin, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Massyl Kharja during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Massyl Kharja kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. A hard shot by Moutawakkil Ait Omar from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Tamin Tiberkanin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Larache Olympique fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Al-Hoceima Youssoufia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
