Spectators: 10981 (Terracing: 8237, Seating: 2525, VIP seats: 219) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ashraf Oussalah took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Ayub Sektioui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Marrakech Rabat FC's zone, Abdellatif Benkhirane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sayid Mahdoufi came out of the goal and Abdellatif Benkhirane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Marrakech Rabat FC's Ashraf Oussalah got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Nacer Khlifi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sayid Mahdoufi. Marrakech Rabat FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nacer Khlifi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Marrakech FC's Sebastião Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youssef Lamin in the 20th minute of play. Marrakech Rabat FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Cássio Proença scored to the left of an out of position Sayid Mahdoufi, making the score, 2-0. Nacer Khlifi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sayid Mahdoufi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sayid Mahdoufi was a little too slow when Nacer Khlifi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 4-0. The supporters of Marrakech FC booed when Marrakech Rabat FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachad Remch didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Abdellatif Benkhirane sped through Marrakech Rabat FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sayid Mahdoufi. After 39 minutes of play, Marrakech FC's Nacer Khlifi made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sayid Mahdoufi was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdellatif Benkhirane to make the kick off. When Cássio Proença came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Marrakech FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Proença couldn't finish the play. Salah Tiberkanin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the game, Abdellatif Benkhirane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Sayid Mahdoufi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Fatih Obbadi in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Marrakech FC's Vuyani Tshabalala. Sayid Mahdoufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Abdellatif Benkhirane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Salah Tiberkanin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Proença blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sayid Mahdoufi having to make a save. If Abdellatif Benkhirane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Marrakech Rabat FC got a freekick which was hit by Ayub Sektioui. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdellatif Benkhirane in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sayid Mahdoufi saved Marrakech Rabat FC from getting behind. Sayid Mahdoufi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdellatif Benkhirane's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. A collision led to Marrakech Rabat FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Salah Tiberkanin hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Misael Diaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91st play minutes Abdellatif Benkhirane shot 12-0, a short shot which went by Sayid Mahdoufi and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Marrakech Rabat FC's zone, Nacer Khlifi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacer Khlifi in the 96th minute of play forced Marrakech Rabat FC's goalkeeper Sayid Mahdoufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Marrakech FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
