Victor Butt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josh Swanson in the 9th minute of the match. Chris Hancock kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Josh Swanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Wiley in the 15th minute of play forced Huddersfield's goalkeeper Brandon Butler Yeats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josh Swanson , who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Little Comberton's Jimmy Wiley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brandon Butler Yeats narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Huddersfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derek Medlin to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Dave Graham sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Huddersfield's Brandon Butler Yeats didn't even have to move. In the 23rd minute, Little Comberton's Jimmy Wiley ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brandon Butler Yeats. Brandon Butler Yeats yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 28 minutes of play, Huddersfield's Josh Swanson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Butt was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Little Comberton booed when Huddersfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Osmond didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Des Moxon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Josh Swanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, John McLiam Wilson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Des Moxon might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brandon Butler Yeats. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Des Moxon ran back to his position shaking his head. Rowan Shaw kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimmy Wiley was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Josh Swanson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victor Butt . That made the score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. When Chris Hancock was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. After 60 played minutes Little Comberton got a freekick which was hit by Chris Hancock . Ivan Simmons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Little Comberton's goalkeeper Victor Butt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Simmons. After 75 played minutes Little Comberton got a freekick which was hit by Ronan Marston . After a defensive mix-up in Huddersfield's zone, Rowan Shaw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brandon Butler Yeats came out of the goal and Rowan Shaw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Butt came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Huddersfield's Ivan Simmons. But to his dismay, Ivan Simmons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
