Hanworth FC's Kevin Bates played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maik Nethercot in the 18th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Maik Nethercot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hanworth FC's Kevin Bates was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maik Nethercot in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Bates saved Hanworth FC from getting behind. If Benji Dixon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Benji Dixon made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Harrison . Bridgwater City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Hanworth FC's Bruce Strongman in 32 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Thomas Harrison guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Thomas Harrison didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruce Strongman went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Benji Dixon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Harrison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Strongman in the 40th minute of the match. Maik Nethercot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kevin Bates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Bridgwater City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hanworth FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maik Nethercot to make the kick off. Thomas Harrison made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Benji Dixon sent off a good shot on target. After 62 played minutes Hanworth FC got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Short . Kevin Bates showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Peake in the 65th minute of the match. Alexander Llyod hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Hanworth FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Bateman . If Shane Peake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Thomas Harrison managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Hanworth FC's Benji Dixon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Maik Nethercot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Kevin Bates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shane Peake blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevin Bates having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Benji Dixon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hanworth FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benji Dixon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Harrison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kevin Bates showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Peake , who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Hanworth FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Andrew Bateman hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hanworth FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
