The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Chiswick booed when GIPSY TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Leather didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Roy Higgins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to GIPSY TEAM getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Basil Blueman hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Jamal Clarke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chiswick fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nathan Ford charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nathan Ford the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34thth minute of the game Roy Higgins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GIPSY TEAM's Franz Best was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franz Best showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamal Clarke in the 37th minute of the match. Franz Best made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Clarke in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, GIPSY TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnathan Marston to maneuver through the defense. Roy Higgins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz Best having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Keith Patten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimmy Nicholson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Andy Moyse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimmy Nicholson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chiswick's Steven Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keith Patten in the 73rd minute of play. Roy Higgins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamal Clarke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz Best having to interfere. Chiswick's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
