After recieving a nice pass, Lantham West Police's Keiran Ryan tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Epsom's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Renwick came free, but Rod Beadle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Larry Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lantham West Police's supporters crossed their fingers, but Larry Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Todd Renwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Todd Renwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rod Beadle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lantham West Police's Garth Crittenden pulled a muscle in his back after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 23 played minutes Epsom got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Briggs . Rod Beadle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Renwick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Renwick in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rod Beadle saved Epsom from getting behind. Rod Beadle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Renwick in the 27th minute of play. Wes Winterbine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrew Kindness in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavin Newlyn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Todd Renwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rod Beadle having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Wes Winterbine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute Todd Renwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rod Beadle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Epsom booed when Lantham West Police was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Renwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes in the game, Todd Renwick fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rod Beadle having to interfere.

A collision led to Lantham West Police getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Paul Davey hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the game, Larry Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rod Beadle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Renwick in the 61st minute of play forced Epsom's goalkeeper Rod Beadle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Reuben Rush fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Epsom's protests and gave Reuben Rush a yellow card for diving instead. Reuben Rush kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Andrew Kindness dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gavin Newlyn, 2-1. Andrew Kindness sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wes Winterbine struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Rod Beadle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lantham West Police. 82 minutes into the match, Epsom's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Renwick came free, but Rod Beadle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wes Winterbine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Epsom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Briggs to maneuver through the defense. Rod Beadle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Renwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Gavin Newlyn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. There was no doubt that Lantham West Police were the better team. Lantham West Police's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
