Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bryan Mulford in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Ford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th match minute, Yeadon United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cody Shilton to maneuver through the defense. Ozzy Crouch made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Fitz Garforth sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the game, Bryan Mulford cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Oscar Ford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dylon Scott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bryan Mulford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Ballymoney Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Mulford came free, but Oscar Ford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Fitz Garforth dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ozzy Crouch , 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Trevor Croxford reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ozzy Crouch . The goal made the score 2-1. Martin Kitching charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Kitching the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Martin Kitching hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yeadon United's Bryan Mulford got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fitz Garforth kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trevor Croxford in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ozzy Crouch saved Yeadon United from getting behind. If Trevor Croxford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yeadon United's Ozzy Crouch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Yeadon United from getting a goal against them. Dylon Scott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Oscar Ford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Trevor Croxford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballymoney Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Trevor Croxford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ozzy Crouch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Trevor Croxford to strike the kick off in the second half. If Dylon Scott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fitz Garforth in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ozzy Crouch saved Yeadon United from getting behind. In the 57th minute Fitz Garforth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ozzy Crouch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Trevor Croxford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Rupert Dawson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballymoney Rovers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yeadon United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ballymoney Rovers's Rupert Dawson got a free kick in the 61st minute. Kenneth Duxbury hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Fitz Garforth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballymoney Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fitz Garforth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ozzy Crouch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trevor Croxford's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Trevor Croxford notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Yeadon United's Ozzy Crouch . Ozzy Crouch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ozzy Crouch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trevor Croxford in the 78th minute of the match. Fitz Garforth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yeadon United's Ozzy Crouch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fitz Garforth in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Fitz Garforth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ozzy Crouch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trevor Croxford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ozzy Crouch having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Ballymoney Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Morris to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ballymoney Rovers had won after a very even match.
