Spectators: 6849 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 0) Stiff Whiteley started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Purfleet's goal looked a bit too open when Trey Blackwell came free, but Darius Simmons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierce Moore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Murray having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Trey Blackwell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darius Simmons was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute, Phillip Ennis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Purfleet's Kris Way got a free kick in the 17th minute. Dominik Murray was a little too slow when John Bromley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierce Moore got free with Dominik Murray in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pierce Moore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Murray having to interfere. John Bromley struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Dominik Murray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purfleet. In the 32nd minute Trey Blackwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darius Simmons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darius Simmons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stiff Whiteley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Trey Blackwell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East Tilbury AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trey Blackwell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Purfleet fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Purfleet's John Bromley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. John Bromley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dominik Murray came out and tried to block the shot, but John Bromley slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 45th minute.

If Pierce Moore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Pierce Moore made a precise shot to the right of Dominik Murray. East Tilbury AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Pierce Moore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
