Spectators: 6877 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1877, VIP seats: 0) Billy Moore started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Martin Emberson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lowestoft AFC's Zackary Blackburn got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Bromborough AFC's Tod Whitmore got control of the ball when Sean McDermot tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bromborough AFC's Liam Holdsworth got a free kick in the 12th minute. Zackary Blackburn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Lydiate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Stone having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billy Moore in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jake Stone saved Lowestoft AFC from getting behind. Billy Moore struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jake Stone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bromborough AFC. Allan Lydiate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Moore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Stone having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lowestoft AFC's zone, Ash Flower stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jake Stone came out of the goal and Ash Flower tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Lowestoft AFC booed when Bromborough AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zackary Blackburn to make the kick off. Sean McDermot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tod Whitmore having to interfere. Bromborough AFC's Tod Whitmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackary Blackburn in the 54th minute of play. Tod Whitmore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zackary Blackburn , who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Patrick Hawkins hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Bromborough AFC's Tod Whitmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean McDermot in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Sean McDermot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ash Flower kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Sean McDermot hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Tod Whitmore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean McDermot , who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Zackary Blackburn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tod Whitmore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Billy Moore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Stone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Moore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jake Stone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Lydiate got free with Jake Stone in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Allan Lydiate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 minutes of play, Bromborough AFC's Allan Lydiate made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jake Stone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bromborough AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
