Goole's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imperial College London the free kick. Chesney Houghton kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, James Higgins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matty Bingham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoff Finlay, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keith Sharples in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marty Downs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Goole's Marty Downs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Beecham in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes in the game, Geoff Finlay fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Matty Bingham having to interfere. Matty Bingham made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when James Higgins sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geoff Finlay in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matty Bingham saved Imperial College London from getting behind. Matty Bingham made an important save on a dangerous shot by James Higgins in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes Imperial College London got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Gunn. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geoff Finlay in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matty Bingham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Imperial College London's Ronny Pearch got a free kick in the 44th minute.
