Spectators: 6860 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1860, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciarán Rose started the match with the kick off. Tod Kemp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Washington in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Brian Gerrard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Marty Washington ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tod Kemp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Jerome Kennedy came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Bristol Black Horse FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerome Kennedy couldn't finish the play. Tod Kemp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Lister, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 22 minutes, Brian Gerrard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sturminster Newton and the Bristol Black Horse FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sturminster Newton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Tod Kemp went to the wrong direction when Jez Brady was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Bristol Black Horse FC booed when Sturminster Newton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhys Wagstaff didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Rhys Wagstaff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marty Washington took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tod Kemp . Tod Kemp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 38th match minute, Sturminster Newton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Morgan to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Sturminster Newton got a freekick which was hit by Devon Brontë. Jez Brady took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tod Kemp . Sturminster Newton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute, Connor Blacknell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marty Washington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tod Kemp having to interfere. After the first half Bristol Black Horse FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marty Washington to make the kick off. When Connor Blacknell came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Sturminster Newton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Connor Blacknell couldn't finish the play. Charlie Watts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciarán Rose 's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Ciarán Rose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Watts having to interfere. Ciarán Rose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Charlie Watts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bristol Black Horse FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jerome Kennedy hit a great ball. Charlie Watts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devon Brontë in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ciarán Rose managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sturminster Newton's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciarán Rose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charlie Watts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timothy Pryor kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Tod Kemp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Washington, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Patrick Lister kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Bristol Black Horse FC's Charlie Watts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciarán Rose in the 87th minute of play. When Connor Blacknell came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Sturminster Newton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Connor Blacknell couldn't finish the play. Patrick Lister could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Tod Kemp made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bristol Black Horse FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
