In the 17th minute Warren Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Deighton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 played minutes Ferryton United got a freekick which was hit by Rodd Vaughn . Carl Andrews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickey Clifton having to interfere. After having played for 26 minutes, Kev Strongman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris Saint-Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kev Strongman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kev Strongman kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Ferryton United's Dylon Mumford sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Deighton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Warren Simpson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeo Deighton. Paris Saint-Germain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Warren Simpson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Seth Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paris Saint-Germain's Carl Andrews got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Andrews in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mickey Clifton saved Ferryton United from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Warren Simpson to make the kick off. Dylon Mumford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Romeo Deighton made a huge save. Warren Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dylon Mumford struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Romeo Deighton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferryton United. Romeo Deighton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Warren Simpson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Paris Saint-Germain's Romeo Deighton got control of the ball when Dylon Mumford tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warren Simpson in the 65th minute of play forced Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Romeo Deighton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Ricketts 's late challenge caught a Paris Saint-Germain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mickey Clifton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Holmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Carl Andrews was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paris Saint-Germain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferryton United the free kick. Kev Strongman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickey Clifton having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ferryton United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
