When Keiran Airton fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lisburn Football Club's protests and gave Keiran Airton a yellow card for diving instead. Keiran Airton kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Ferryton. Curtis Cotton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wesley Hyde. 2-1. Billy Dunlops short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Dave Lightbody to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Billy Dunlop could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Dave Lightbody made a huge save. Billy Dunlop in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. But to his dismay, Freddie Vaughn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Dave Lightbody made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keiran Airton in the 72nd minute of play. Freddie Vaughn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Lisburn Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Lisburn Football Club's Billy Dunlop looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
